On Saturday, September 17, 2011, 12:00 noon, Saint Frances Academy, 501 East Chase Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21202, will be hosting a dedication and unveiling of a banner for the Nick Adenhart Memorial Batting Cage. The Panthers’ Baseball Program received a much needed donation from the Nick Adenhart Foundation in order to erect the cage. The foundation, named after the late, former Major League Baseball starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels, Nicholas James Adenhart. Richmond,VA – The Metropolitan Junior Baseball League, a 45 year old 501 (c)3 non-profit organization, will take its national championship to Orlando, FL on July 26th- July 31st. MJBL offers the oldest and longest running inner city baseball tournament in the country. The 21st Annual MJBL Inner City Classic features the Bobby Bonds Memorial Symposium and the Black World Series. This year’s Classic is hosted by Central Florida’s Sports Commission and the Florida Sports Foundation.
